Hospitals also must meet certain size and service requirements, including having no more than 25 acute care inpatient beds.</p><p>The bill allows, for one year, hospitals that are participating in the Rural Community Hospital Demonstration Program to also qualify as CAHs. (The program tests the feasibility&nbsp;of cost-based reimbursement for small rural hospitals that are too large to qualify as CAHs.)</p>","updateDate":"2025-12-05T22:03:46Z"},"markets":[],"stateBills":[],"meta":{"sources":["congress.gov"],"latencyMs":298,"ts":"2026-04-19T09:59:48.106Z"},"nextActions":{"inspect":[],"related":[{"description":"Search related legislation","method":"GET","url":"/api/public/query-gov?q=Supporting%20Access%20to%20Rural%20Community%20Hospitals%20Act%20of%202025"}]}}
