Specifically, the bill provides for coverage of microarray analysis, DNA and RNA sequencing, whole-exome sequencing, and other next-generation sequencing for individuals diagnosed with cancer.</p> <p>Additionally, the Department of Health and Human Services must establish an education and awareness program for physicians and the public about genomic testing and the role of genetic counselors.</p>","updateDate":"2025-12-05T21:51:33Z"},"markets":[],"stateBills":[],"meta":{"sources":["congress.gov"],"latencyMs":1394,"ts":"2026-04-19T12:50:36.662Z"},"nextActions":{"inspect":[],"related":[{"description":"Search related legislation","method":"GET","url":"/api/public/query-gov?q=Finn%20Sawyer%20Access%20to%20Cancer%20Testing%20Act"}]}}
