As part of the rule, the FAA must specify a process to periodically review and update the noise standards to reflect future advances in aircraft noise reduction technology and regulatory changes.</p><p>Current&nbsp;regulations prohibit civil aircraft from operating above Mach 1 speeds over land in the United States without a special flight authorization issued by the FAA.</p>","updateDate":"2026-04-02T17:06:17Z"},"markets":[],"stateBills":[],"meta":{"sources":["congress.gov"],"latencyMs":2235,"ts":"2026-04-15T01:19:09.104Z"},"nextActions":{"inspect":[],"related":[{"description":"Search related legislation","method":"GET","url":"/api/public/query-gov?q=Supersonic%20Aviation%20Modernization%20Act"}]}}
