This authorization applies to up to 40 acres of land that was used, or previously used, as a cemetery, including up to 1 acre adjacent to the land used as a cemetery.&nbsp;</p><p>The conveyed land must continue to be used as a cemetery. If it is not used for that purpose, the Forest Service may revert the land and any improvements back to the United States.&nbsp;</p><p>The Forest Service may waive certain conveyance costs upon the demonstrated need of a state government, local government, Indian tribe, or community land grant.</p>","updateDate":"2026-03-19T03:23:25Z"},"markets":[],"stateBills":[],"meta":{"sources":["congress.gov"],"latencyMs":841,"ts":"2026-04-19T11:03:46.625Z"},"nextActions":{"inspect":[],"related":[{"description":"Search related legislation","method":"GET","url":"/api/public/query-gov?q=Small%20Cemetery%20Conveyance%20Act"}]}}
