Covered veterans are those who received VA hospital care or medical services during the five-year period preceding the death of the veteran. </p> <p>The VA shall report on the results of the review and make such report publicly available.</p>","updateDate":"2026-04-08T17:51:42Z"},"markets":[],"stateBills":[],"meta":{"sources":["congress.gov"],"latencyMs":316,"ts":"2026-04-19T08:23:54.055Z"},"nextActions":{"inspect":[],"related":[{"description":"Search related legislation","method":"GET","url":"/api/public/query-gov?q=Veterans%20HOPE%20Act"}]}}
