Current law requires an entity to ensure that an individual employed at subminimum wage receives periodic career counseling, information, and referrals to other services from the designated state agency. Under the bill, this requirement is met if the employer makes a documented effort to contact the state agency for those resources on behalf of the employee, and the state agency subsequently fails to provide the counseling, information, and referrals.</p>","updateDate":"2026-09-19T23:41:23Z"},"markets":[],"stateBills":[],"meta":{"sources":["congress.gov"],"latencyMs":7698,"ts":"2026-10-14T13:52:30.236Z"},"nextActions":{"inspect":[],"related":[{"description":"Search related legislation","method":"GET","url":"https://simplefunctions.dev/api/public/query-gov?q=Restoration%20of%20Employment%20Choice%20for%20Adults%20with%20Disabilitie"}]}}
