Analysis
The Raiders' AFC Championship odds are priced at an extremely depressed 3¢, implying a 4160% annualized yield for believers—an extraordinarily high return reflecting the massive gap between current price and potential payout. With $32,080 in open interest but zero 24-hour volume, this market suffers from severe illiquidity despite 284 days to expiration, suggesting the 3¢ price may not reflect true consensus but rather thin order book dynamics. The 32 Cliff Risk Index and neutral regime indicate moderate structural volatility, though the outsized implied yield warrants caution about whether this represents genuine mispricing or simply a low-conviction, low-liquidity market.
Resolution rules
This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2027 AFC championship game. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 NFL AFC championship per the rules of the NFL (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2027 NFL AFC championship game is cancelled, postponed after March 31, 2027 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
