Analysis
This market shows extreme illiquidity with zero 24-hour volume despite $24,924 in open interest, suggesting the 6¢ price may not reflect true consensus given the wide 3¢ spread. The 3,839% implied yield on the Yes side is a statistical artifact of the extremely low price rather than a genuine opportunity, as Djokovic will be 38 years old at the 2026 US Open and has faced increasing injury concerns. With 149 days to expiry and a neutral regime score, the market appears underpriced relative to historical precedent for aging top players, but the lack of trading activity indicates minimal conviction from participants.
Resolution rules
The 2026 U.S. Open tennis tournament is scheduled for August 23 - September 13, 2026. This market will resolve to the player that wins the 2026 U.S. Open Men’s Singles Tournament. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed player to win the 2026 U.S. Open Men’s Singles Tournament per the rules of the tournament, the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 U.S. Open Men’s Singles Tournament is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
