Analysis
Andy Pages' MVP odds have collapsed dramatically from 50¢ to 14¢ over seven days, suggesting a significant negative catalyst or market correction, though the $0 24-hour volume and minimal $161.25 open interest indicate extremely thin liquidity that may exaggerate price movements. The asymmetric implied yields (1064% on Yes vs. 28.2% on No) combined with a 28¢ spread and elevated realized volatility of 3854% point to a highly speculative micro-market where pricing may not reflect true consensus. With 211 days to expiry and a Cliff Risk Index of 6, this contract carries substantial uncertainty, and the lack of recent trading activity makes the current 14¢ price potentially unreliable for serious position-taking.
Resolution rules
This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
