Analysis
Tatsuro Taira's odds have declined sharply from 43¢ to 34¢ over seven days, suggesting recent negative sentiment or competing contender developments, though the 34% implied probability still reflects meaningful championship viability over the 258-day window. The extremely high realized volatility (639%) and vol ratio (4.22) indicate this market experiences substantial price swings, creating potential arbitrage opportunities despite modest 24-hour volume of $11.6K and a 5¢ spread. The asymmetric implied yields (275% for Yes vs. 73% for No) suggest the market may be pricing in significant uncertainty about whether Taira can capture the belt, making this a high-risk, high-reward position for believers in his championship prospects.
