Analysis
This Jets AFC East market shows extreme dysfunction with a massive 84¢ spread, zero 24-hour volume, and only $20.6k open interest despite a 2177% implied yield on the yes side—suggesting the 48¢ price may reflect illiquidity rather than genuine probability assessment. The realized volatility of 2036% and 5.37 vol ratio indicate wild price swings (the yes price jumped from 11¢ to 49¢ in seven days), typical of thin markets where small trades create outsized moves. With 263 days to expiry and a high cliff risk index of 16, this appears to be a speculative position rather than an efficiently-priced market, and the extreme yes-side yield likely reflects compensation for illiquidity risk rather than a genuine edge.
Resolution rules
This market will resolve according to the team that is declared as the AFC East division champion for the 2026 NFL regular season. If multiple teams tie atop the division, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the NFL. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 17, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared for this division within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
