Analysis
The Colts' AFC Championship contract is pricing in just a 6% win probability with an extraordinarily high implied yield of 2,016% on the Yes side, though this extreme figure reflects the minimal price floor rather than genuine expected returns given near-zero trading volume over 24 hours. With $31,514 in open interest but no recent trades, the market appears illiquid and potentially stale, suggesting the 6¢ price may not reflect current market consensus as we approach the 2027 season. The 284-day timeframe provides ample opportunity for price discovery, but traders should be cautious given the wide 2¢ spread and lack of recent activity.
Resolution rules
This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2027 AFC championship game. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 NFL AFC championship per the rules of the NFL (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2027 NFL AFC championship game is cancelled, postponed after March 31, 2027 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
