Will Maikel Garcia win the 2026 AL Platinum Glove award?
Analysis
AI-generated · updated dailyThis market shows extreme illiquidity with zero 24-hour volume despite $1.36M open interest, and an unusually wide 79¢ spread that creates a 225% implied yield on the yes side—suggesting significant uncertainty or potential mispricing. Garcia's 40¢ price has risen 7 points over the past week in a neutral regime, but the 311% realized volatility and 2.03 vol ratio indicate this contract experiences sharp swings relative to information flow (1.0 arrival rate per hour). With 244 days to expiry and a low Cliff Risk Index of 2, the market appears to be pricing in meaningful doubt about Garcia's defensive award prospects, though the extreme spread warrants caution before taking either side.
