Contract brief

In the upcoming MLB game between the Colorado Rockies and Detroit Tigers, scheduled for September 12 at 1:10 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Colorado Rockies" if the Colorado Rockies scores more runs than the Detroit Tigers in the 8th inning. This market will resolve to "Detroit Tigers" if the Detroit Tigers scores more runs than the Colorado Rockies in the 8th inning. If both teams score the same number of runs in the 8th inning, this market will resolve to "Draw". This market will resolve based on the runs officially recorded in the 8th inning, regardless of whether both teams come to bat in that inning. If the game reaches an official final result without the 8th inning being played, this market will resolve 50-50. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the 8th inning has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. To know when a postponed game will be played, please check the home team's schedule on MLB.com for the listed team and look for the game described as a makeup game. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

SimpleFunctions aggregates live prediction-market contracts from Kalshi and Polymarket. Each slug groups contracts that resolve on the same underlying event, identified by venue event_id.

For binary slugs, the headline probability is the liquidity-weighted mid-price across all bound contracts. For multi-outcome slugs (e.g. elections with 3+ candidates), the headline is the leader’s price; we never arithmetically average disjoint outcomes — that would produce a number with no real-world meaning.

Snapshots refresh every 5 minutes during market hours; daily aggregates are computed at 04:00 UTC. The 30-day sparkline is drawn from per-ticker daily means stored in market_indicator_daily; 24h delta and movement events are derived from the same source.
