Contract brief

In the upcoming EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) game between Manchester City FC and Norwich City FC, scheduled for September 17, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Over" if there are 12 or more total corners taken in this game (combining corners for both teams). If the total number of corners is fewer than 12, this market will resolve to "Under". Markets on number of corners refers to number of corners taken and not corners awarded. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. This market refers only to corners taken within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Corners awarded but not taken will not count. Corners awarded during extra time or penalty shootouts do not count. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics published by the governing body or event organizers. If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially published final statistics made after market resolution will not be considered in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

How we compute these odds

SimpleFunctions aggregates live prediction-market contracts from Kalshi and Polymarket. Each slug groups contracts that resolve on the same underlying event, identified by venue event_id.

For binary slugs, the headline probability is the liquidity-weighted mid-price across all bound contracts. For multi-outcome slugs (e.g. elections with 3+ candidates), the headline is the leader’s price; we never arithmetically average disjoint outcomes — that would produce a number with no real-world meaning.

Snapshots refresh every 5 minutes during market hours; daily aggregates are computed at 04:00 UTC. The 30-day sparkline is drawn from per-ticker daily means stored in market_indicator_daily; 24h delta and movement events are derived from the same source.
